Boxer is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing building costs, preparing bills of quantities, verifying scopes of work, and obtaining and comparing contractor quotes

Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the retail sector.
- Experience in construction, including residential, hotel, or building projects.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication skills
Role and Responsibilities:
- Allocate and supervise subcontractor work throughout all stages of construction.
- Perform risk assessments, value management, and cost control during construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance work.
- Evaluate and value completed work.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, including materials, quantities, labour, and time.
- Create comprehensive scopes of work for new store constructions, refurbishments, and small projects.
- Compile bills of quantities (BOQs).
- Conduct site inspections and take accurate measurements.
- Negotiate rates with subcontractors.
- Confirm the contractor’s scope of work with the Project Manager for specific projects.
- Organize contractor adjudication processes.
- Track and report any variations incurred during projects.
- Prepare detailed cost reports
