DHL Global Forwarding Mauritius has an opening for a Sales Intern where you will provide support to the Sales Department.

In this Sales Intern position
- You will be answering customer inquiries.
- You will generate by acquiring lists of prospects (potential customers) across all customer segments.
- You will qualify prospects (as prioritized by Sales Steering/Performance Teams) on their type/ nature of business, contact data and size of customer needs (products used, volumes, key lanes, regions) to identify their revenue potential.
- You will capture call information and enters qualification results on the systems such as MYDHLi and Sales360 to generate notifications to lead originators/Sales organization.
- You will clean lead lists and data with provided captured information in sales360.
- You will be compiling a daily list of qualified sales leads, delegating leads in sales360 to the Sales.
- You will conduct campaign calls to prospects customers not assigned to a Salesperson.
- You will coordinate and adapt Local, Global, Regional market communication plan to support country Sales objectives.
- You will be developing and monitoring performance indicators for the sales and staff members managing sales tracking tools and assisting on managing sales tracking tools.
- You will monitor and report back on Sales Department KPI’s and attends to the PD Board.
- You will be performing date entry tasks for sales figures, metrics and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
- You will assist in the preparation of business reviews.
- You will assist in the prepare of estimates costings and rate proposals and proposal writing as per Quote shop.
- You will be preparing Sales reports e.g., Sales Index reports including revenue development, churn rates, hit rates, pipeline size, etc. by customers.
- You will provide administrative support and follow-up on matters arising.
- You will be scheduling customer meetings and conferences.
- You will be supporting the customer contract by preparing customer documents.
- You will be supporting the customer planning and assist in the implementation process (Customer Onboarding)
here’s what we need from you
- Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent
- At least 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Forwarding/Clearing Industry
- Fluent in English & French
