JOB PURPOSE
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker at Unitrans. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare vehicles for a trip
- Operate heavy duty vehicles
- Handle documentation from dispatch to the customer and back to the distribution Centre
- Perform vehicle inspection before and after the trip
- Takes full responsibility for the roadworthiness of the vehicle when leaving the Depot
- Account for all the goods that are being transported to the customer
- All other reasonable instructions from Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
- CValid PrDP – PrDP “D” if required to operate Dangerous Goods C
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holiday
- Safe driving record and clean criminal record
