FlySafair has a vacancy for a Warehouse Assistant at the head office in Bonaero Park.
The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Warehouse.
ABOUT FLYSAFAIR
Safair is an airline based at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park, South Africa. It operates one of the world’s largest fleets of civil Lockheed L-100 Hercules cargo aircraft.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move inventory and materials across facilities
- Process inventory for delivery;
- Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location;
- Package items and label correctly
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors;
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Monitor and manage inventory control
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits;
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse;
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Daily feedback to Internal and External Customers;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook
