REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Knowledge, Competencies and skills: Able to operate switchboard machines.
Able to handle confidential information. Able to read and write. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principle.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend to incoming and outgoing telephone calls. Transfer calls to relevant extensions. Provide clients with relevant information. Take messages and convey to relevant staff.
Keep record of all outgoing calls. Print and issue telephone accounts. Maintain telephone database. Allocate pin codes when authorised. Identify and report telephone faults to the supervisor.
