Sassa Payment collections
Sassa payments can be collected at different locations depending on the type of grant and the individual’s circumstances. Here are some common collection points for Sassa payments:
- Sassa Offices: Sassa has regional and local offices where individuals can collect their payments. These offices are typically located in major towns and cities throughout South Africa.

- Pay Points: Sassa has designated pay points in rural areas or remote communities where individuals who have difficulty accessing other collection points can receive their payments. These pay points are usually set up on specific days to facilitate payment distribution.
- Merchants and Retailers: Sassa has partnered with some merchants and retailers who are authorized to disburse Sassa payments. This option provides additional convenience for recipients who may prefer to collect their payments while doing their shopping.
It is important to note that the specific collection points may vary depending on factors such as the type of grant, location, and changes in Sassa’s payment distribution methods.
