Role Synopsis
A fantastic chance has opened up for a Clinical Engineering Internship post, which will help clinical engineering graduates enhance their advanced abilities. The candidate’s capacity to develop strong relationships and improve their working abilities will be the main goals of this 12-month program.
In addition to ensuring compliance with all pertinent Netcare policies, procedures, international and national best practices, and recommendations, this function will assist the administration and maintenance of all medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Health Technology Regulations
Important job products and responsibilities
Create, put into effect, monitor, and report on initiatives allocated to enhance quality in the following areas:
Management and upkeep of medical equipment
Medical equipment integration on the Netcare Electronic Medical Record system o Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP PM) o Service Level Agreement and vendor management o Risk assessment and compliance monitoring/audits
No prior job experience is necessary.
Occupational Health and Safety Act and Health Act rules knowledge is beneficial.
