Work-Integrated Learning program at the Gauteng Department of Agriculture

The Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment (GDARDE) encourages students to apply for the WIL Programme 2023.

The Department is accepting applications for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity, which will last up to 12 months.

The Learnership program is applicable in the following areas:

Category 1: Applicants who have completed the theoretical portion of their qualification may apply for an internship slot using the reference number given above. If the application is denied, it will be evaluated for WIL on a voluntary basis.

category 2: Applicants who are still in the process of completing their theoretical portion of the qualification and want to perform voluntary services before March 31, 2024 must apply for WIL on a voluntary basis using the reference number WIL2023.

All candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35, South African citizens, and either jobless graduates who have never participated in an internship program or students who require Experiential Training to fulfill their credentials.

Successful candidates for internship positions will be required to sign an Internship Agreement and will be paid a monthly allowance or stipend based on their exit level of credentials.

Applications must be submitted on a signed new Z83 form issued from any Public Service Department, as well as a Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of identity documents, senior certificates and qualifications, including academic transcripts.
