JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Warehouse Operative is to assist with a wide range of tasks in and around the Warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, dispatch, stock counts and hygiene.
Responsibilities
Receiving
Receiving all stock via the Qwix system.
Ensure all stock coming in has the correct pallet ID.
Put-away functions
Placing of stock in correct bin allocations, when received from bottling or with inbound – adhering to Qwix instructions on scanners
Picking
Picking of stock according to the Qwix system – instruction on scanners.
Picking of stock from load sheets if Qwix system is offline.
Picking stock to replenish Bottling daily.
Stock take
Doing stock takes and cycle counts as communicated.
Housekeeping
Ensuring all housekeeping is done, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis according to schedule.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
Grade 12
Literacy in Microsoft Excel/Word /QWIX
Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
Language: English and Afrikaans
Forklift licence advantageous
One to two years relevant warehouse experience.
