DESCRIPTION
E.P.X. Courier Services is looking to hire a highly efficient Driver Assistant to help company drivers with all deliveries.
The Driver Assistant responsibilities include loading and unloading products by hand or by use of hand trucks, collecting all rejected products upon approval by customer service, and ensuring that the delivery vehicle is clean at all times.
You should also be able to build and maintain solid inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective communication.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Transporting Personnel
- Communicating and clarifying requirements
- Roads and Stormwater monitoring
Correcting Deviations in work-related sequencing in order to ensure service delivery standards are maintained and productivity targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Accurate loading and unloading of trucks
- Pack vehicles with orders to be delivered
- Record loaded parcels
- Report any discrepancy
- Capture relevant information
Salary:
R7654.00-R9654.00
Desired Experience & Qualification
The applicant must have the appropriate level of Secondary Qualification — NQF level 1
- Code C1 driver’s licence and PrDP
- 18 to 24 months year’s relevant experience
- Skills: Good Communication skills (IsiZulu & English)
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Ability to drive and operate Utility Vehicle.
